The Morris Ring was the first umbrella organisation of morris dancers. Formed in 1934 – the same year as Bathampton Morris Men – it originally consisted of just 6 English sides. Today, there are over 200 sides in the Morris Ring from all over the world.

To mark the occasion of our joint Diamond Anniversaries, we shall host a Meeting of The Morris Ring in the City of Bath over the weekend of September 4th — 6th. The national officers of The Morris Ring, along with more than a hundred morris men from all over the country and abroad, will join us and take part in dance displays throughout Bath on the Saturday and Sunday, bringing an unprecedented splash of colour to the city. Details of the weekend's events may be found in the programme.

There will be a special service on the Sunday in Holy Trinity Church, attended by morris men along with the Mayor of Bath and other civic dignitaries.
